Looking for software that is free for students to install on any computer they have access to? I started this blog because I believe that all students and teachers should be able to use software for learning regardless of their ability to pay software licence fees. Open source software = community-owned software.
That's a great presentation. I am sad to have missed LCA2010. Everything I have heard about it has been very positive. How was the presentation received?
pyGrant It would have been nice to meet up at LCA if you were able to make it- another day perhaps. The conference was great and I'll post quite a bit over the next few weeks. In the end there were about 3 presentations looking at different aspects of the Albany experience and they we all well received. Perhaps the best thing was the fact that there were two staff and two students from our school. It was an invaluable experience for all of us.
